Introduction, spiritual challenges, and seeking sparky pagans

I am Braegan aka Courtney Freeman. I have been around in the pagan group the Den for 3 or 4 years now. Most of my time recently has been spent over in Denia as Denia's General Manager. I enjoy graphic art and typography. I love large dogs and plan on becoming a Veterinary Technician. I currently work as a grants compliance/executive assistant/and Team Leader for our Day care at a non profit substance abuse agency. Die hard Cleveland Browns fan. 

I struggle with my spiritual path. Born , raised, and brainwashed Christian.  I even went to a Lutheran school for 10 years where we had bible study every day, afternoon church on Wednesdays, church and dinner on Thursday nights then of course church on Sunday mornings.  My mother was a member of the church board and taught vacation bible school in the summers.  So you see I never got to learn anything else.  I never even knew that other deities was a possibility.  Now I struggle with the fact that their are any deities to begin with.  I think more logically and scientifically.  There lies my greatest struggle.  I believe in what I see and can prove. I lean more towards Celtic myth and Buddhism. However, until I make up my always confused mind, I can only title myself as agnostic.

You either like me, love me, or just cannot tolerate me. I like to speak my mind and am passionate about what I feel. I am very career driven and the greatest strength I can provide people with is my business sense.

As a former two time Den Guardian title holder I recently ran for the greatest Denian title, Queen of the Den. Even though I did not win that battle, I am back for round two to challenge Katrina for Lady-in-waiting. So we have two title runs going on simultaneously.  One for Lady-in-Waiting and one for King of the Den.  Beginning on Monday I have issued a challenge to my co-runner to post a daily fresh topic to increase the Den's activity and involvement. What I am looking for is spunky, intelligent, and not weak hearted Pagans to join either group.  We need fresh faces that like to constantly challenge themselves and others.  Ones who aren't afraid of speaking their mind and can hold their own ground.  Ones that are looking to become part of a family of outspoken strong individuals in the Pagan community.  If you join please note that I referred you so you can be approved faster.  Hope to see you there and I will also be posting those daily topics here as well that I post over there in thenext week.  So at the very least I hope you keep tabs on my blog and teach me new things.  BB
