Just some thoughts

Do I fit here on PS.

I have been a member since Dec. of 2007. But do I fit here?

I am an ole witch that does things the old way. Ya know before the wicca thing hit the States. 

I have learned a lot from this site and the people on it. A bunch of stuff about wiccan ways. Lots of people seem to think that neo-wiccan is the only way to be a witch. That you have to cast circles, and call, what do they call again, oh yeah the quarters. lol. Always picture a bunch of coins marching up at the different directions when someone says that.lol. Yep I have an odd sence of humor that many do not get I know.

I have learned about many other pagan religions also. That's why I joined this site, was to learn about other pagan religions. To learn what other witches where up to and what they were about.

I completly know why I always avoided what is known as chaos magic now.  It was a go with the gut feeling for me to avoid it. I always listen to my gut. It's never steered me wrong.

At least now when a youngling in the family starts with, well I heard this or that, I have a very good idea where the this and that came from and can have an informed discussion with them about how it is the same or different from our family tradition. The biggest reason I joined PS was to be able to do that. To protect the family tradition from practices that were not in harmony with it. I can do that now.

I have learned other people's prespective about magic. I also learned there are very few that actually know magic as I do. It's all psychology ya know...that statement still tickles me. I have learned that when some people say I have an open mind, that they can be the most closed minded people you most likely will ever meet. I also learned that no one will actually tell anything about how they do magic. But I think that is because so many people believe the statement that it's all psychology and those that don't just really don't want to argue with those that do.

I also learned that most people are judgemental in some form or other and also many use this site to stroke their ego's. Also people are way to into proof of reality, when reality it self is just an illusion we have built for ourselves.

I also learned that many people use the label Satanist so they don't have to make excuses for being ass holes. All they have to do is say I am a Satanist and my opinion is the only one that counts.

I have met some awesome people on this site. Many I would be proud to call friend in the non electronic world. I have also met some that I would gladly run over them with my truck...lol, just kidding. I wouldn't want to hurt my truck. I have met some that make a big show and talk loudly and with authority to cover up how very lacking they are, those ones I just feel sorry for.

Maybe I don't fit here on PS. I am an ole witch and have lived a long time and have seen to much to have patience with the know it all youngins any more. I wish I knew it all, but the older I get the less I realize I really do know.
