I picked up a pack of tarot cards months ago and I've done some readings on myself during ritual and it was very interesting but i was refering to the card meanings from information I found online.  Now currently ive become very interested in becoming skilled in tarot.  I've been practising witchcraft for quite some time now and I want to expand my skills starting with the tarot.  I purchased a book by 'Skye Alexander" on learning tarot.  The book is great so far and learning the meanings of the cards has shown me that it is not as difficult as i assumed it would be to learn the card meanings. I'm still very early on in the book but like i said i want to expand my skills in witchcraft and reading tarot is one skill that has always appealed to me.

My question to you is:

What is your favortie divination tool?

How did you go about learning it? ("Ex Books, Internet, a friend etc")

The tarot can be quite fickle, I find, especially for beginners. I personally favor a Lenormand deck. To me, the symbolism is more straightforward and applicable in a wider variety of situations. Blessed be, Scott. Best of luck with your craft.

I like the standard Rider-Waite deck. I study the Tarot in depth but not for divination purposes. I would recommend works by Paul Foster Case and Jason Lotterhead.
