[Posts from PerC that I typed up.]
Okay.. I'm going to pose this question and let you people discuss if you want.. since I seem to be terrible at describing what is on my mind.. :/
-Is into discussion voyerism oddly enough. ;o-
Well, I shall try to explain the way I see this..
Basically, we have energy centers.. and we can connect to people with energy..
So if we connect to someone with a well developed crown chakra, we could become more psychically developed..
Or if someone has a strong third eye chakra, our ability to understand logic improves... [as an example]
if someone has a strong heart chakra, they can become more deeply loving..
if someone has a well developed throat chakra, they are more extroverted or able to communicate
if someone is more grounded in the physical world their root chakra would be developed
You get the idea, I'm hoping.. :P
Basically, each of the chakras of each individuals energy body is developed differently..
So the chakras could say a lot about cognitive functions..
For example..
I know I have a more developed Heart and Crown Chakra and have been trying to develop my Third Eye Chakra..
However..
All of the other chakras are mediocre.. All of my attention goes to these three..
My heart chakra is the strongest..
So what does that sound like?
An INFP, right? Sort of?
because the crown chakra would be "intuition"
and the heart chakra would be "Feeling"
but my heart chakra is actually OVERDEVELOPED.
Yes, I might sound crazy, but it is fun to think about.
Note: Please just use the Topic Title as a focus if the rest of the stuff I said sounds too confusing.. :/
Okay..
I'll try to keep this as simplistic as possible because I could easily go on a long disordered tangent with my observations on this..
Okay..
My theory on this:
Internal energy = Introverted Experiences
External energy = Extroverted Experiences
So the Chakras would be this:
Ni = Crown = Intuition
Ti = Third Eye = Logical Thinking [My guess is that NTs use their crown and Third eye chakras more often..]
Fi = Heart = Emotional Focus [My guess is that NFs have well developed heart and crown chakras.]
Si = Root = Grounding/Physical Reality
The Aura/Electromagnetic field would be the same, but put an e in the place of the i.
I will go into more detail about that in a second. x.x
Still working on this, though.
Oh, and before I forget:
Extroverted Functions = Throat chakra + what is projected environmentally in your energy field/external energy + ways an Introverts Inferior Function Manifests
Introverted Functions = focusing on development of chakra/s/cognitive functions [this is all I have for this one.. haha..]
I wonder about karma and individuals, karma and personality types..
Are there certain types that often have better karma than others?
Learning styles and Personality Types.. I'm adding this in with my "Personality Types and its relationship to Chakras" thread eventually..
I have developed it a bit already..
So far, I suspect xxFJs are Kinesthetic Visual..
I believe IxFPs are Visual Kinesthetic
Doers = Kinesthetic
There are two types of doers.. Responsibility-focused and Hobby-focused
So add kinesthetic type with either visual or auditory and examine how they do..
Do they think or do they act more often?
Something interesting..
Reading is doing.
Obviously.
But the Responsible Kinesthetic type with a preference for "doing" over "thinking" might not even think of it as "work"..
To be honest, I love reading as a hobby, but I also see it as work sometimes because I get distracted easily around hyperactive noisy people.. xD and sometimes unfamiliar material takes a while to wrap my mind around, or the material is "tedious" "long-winding" or is "packed with facts"..
Lol.. Forget it if you want me to learn it quickly with distractions. I would rather just do my own thing and stay in ADD mode than be forced into learning something in a way I am not familiar with.
but until I started doing it for my career, I didn't think of it as "doing" either, even though it has always been my favorite form of learning..
I'm trying to improve karma as a coping skill and it makes the world so much brighter. ^_^;;
I need to track down an xNxJ so we can do research and stuff. :o
The way I see it, Personality Typing is SO full of potential ways to improve everyone's lives.. x.x
Yes, it generalizes.. but it can also be used to help each individual to grow and empower themselves..
I notice what I "am interested in learning about" is somewhat biased, but I do it in an objective way that should be open to others for experimentation..
Maybe I'm throwing out too many ideas at once, though.. x.x
I dunno. I might be entirely lost, on the wrong track, but at least I'm having fun. ^_^;;
Comment by Maris Hellfaerie (Maire) on February 20, 2012 at 2:10pm I would not think of something as "overdeveloped". I think perhaps it is like muscle groups. After a while you will try to use those muscle groups which are strong, because they can take it. E.g. An ice racing skater will have very strong thighs, a harp player will have VERY strong hands.
I do not address any other topics, just that one.
Comment by Rune on July 27, 2012 at 5:10pm I think that's a cool way to look at it.. Never thought of harp players as having strong hands, for one.. That's pretty rad.. ^^
Second, I hope what you say is true because if I develop my auditory more andmore, I'll still be an outstandingly focused reader..
What leads me to wonder is attention span.. I have a preference for single-tasking despite having a tendency to be very ADD/distractable..
