rant

Just to warn everyone that this is a rant that I just had to get off my chest. I'm tired of people not realizing what is important in the world. People seem to have changed their thinking from knowing that nature and relationships are most important to thinking that money and possessions are. Now I have a few items that I like to have like my computer but I don't need to have the newest model on the same day it comes out. This also applies to people who run big corporations that care about nothing except money and business. I know we have to get our resources from nature but couldn't we find a better way to do it that doesn't destroy more than what we take. Instead of worrying how to make the next ipad better we should worry more about how to make our own resource gathering processes better. Once we finally learn that we can't survive on eating our high tech toys maybe we would realize that maybe we should have payed more attention to the environment. Technology is good don't get me wrong but at the expense of other living beings it  is not worth it. People have forgotten that we humans are still connected to the environment, What ever we do has a great impact on the environment which could be good or bad.

 I think people need to change their views of the world a little more than we have. To me the views of the Native Americans make the most sense every species should be looked at like a relative, because in truth if you go back in time far enough in time we all have the same ancestor. We are still related in a way because we all have to use the same world to live. Apparently some people forget basic ecology lessons in science class because if they did the would realize everything is connected to one another. We need to learn that religion, race, appearance and gender isn't important enough to fight over, that only separates us further. What we need is something to fight for and together and what better thing to fight for than our own planet. I still have some hope for the human race but people need to start listening to others outside of themselves, yes we have differences but what we have in common should out weigh those differences.
