Ritual at Tituba Temple for New Calendrical Year

Greetings all,

Tonight we did New Year’s ritual at Tituba Temple here in Salem. It was a lovely ritual that included our Temple Dedicants Alfred and Melissa. In the ritual we released things we want to let go of as the old year passes, and manifested thing we hope to see grow in the new year. We also had an Oracle from the Ancestors. I thought I would share the Oracle with you:

”Many doors are opening with the turning of the year
And many others close
We say to you – go forward through those that open
And do not mourn for those which close
But rather look upon the path before you
For the path is bright
Join hands with others of like mind
A forest of people
For the forest is more than the sum of the trees
So too are people more than the sum of persons
When you join together you can do more
And should do more
Now is the time to move forward
And do those things you are called to do
Now is the time to open your hearts to future
This year is a time of transformation
But it no way an ending
It is a time of new beginnings
And a time of renewed life
Therefore renew yourselves
And do not fear that the cocoon
Shall drop away from the butterfly
For the life of the butterfly is flight
And in that flight –and only in that flight-
Is the will of Spirit truly revealed.”
