Time to greet the Dead
Carve a Pumpkin Head
Light candles in a dark room
Sweep away evil with your broom
The Goddess now reigns as the Crone
Dust to Dust
From flesh and bone
The Day of Death ends
A new Year begins!
Sacred night that is Samhain
Brings carved faces like bonefire flames
And in the night you can hear
Spirits call from far and near
Tonight there is no world
Just the in-between
As we honor the dead
On this Halloween...
As Witches we regret not
The bitter winds of change
For in our wisdom we know the truth
Of death to life again...
The Dark Goddess stirs her black cauldron
As the Sleeping Lord holds the flame
Renewing hope in the hearts of man
Till life comes back from whence it came..
