Ok so recently i posted a question regarding what kind of herbs/drugs I could use to help me fall asleep at night. For the past two weeks I've been taking 6mg of Melatonin (a substance that naturally occurs in the pineal gland along with DMT) orally 1 hour to 30 minutes before I go to bed. I took it daily, and it worked for maybe the first two days but I haven't noticed any effect since (I might have become desensitized since its a homeopathic). So last nite I took 260 mg of a valerian root supplement orally. I didn't notice any effect until about 30 min-45min after I took it. It gave me a mild sedation for about 90min then it kinda wore off. So I ended up not being able to fall asleep until about 3am. I think I might try kava next, but I'm running out of options. Does anyone have any other suggested herbs/drugs /supplements?

I heard the kavalactones give some people a mild euphoria. So kava could have religious uses as well.
