I thought this would be a good time to expose a bit of my work since, it’s April Fool’s and I can claim deniable-plausibility. The PDF 1-Theory.pdf I’ve attached is a working draft directly from Word of my first chapter excluding the Preface and Introduction with no layout. My baby is part Mad Science, part Sorcery, and part Alchemical Philosophy, and goes by the name, Theorematis Thaumatugia: A Theoretical Grimoire. It’s a work of arte, a theoretical grimoire, and it’s probably ugly, but, the author does not choose the work—the work summons the author. This is actually the Third Edition as I’ve written the whole book three times now—each time a good bit larger. There’s only one physical copy of the First Edition while the second went to a never published Kindle format.
The whole book (see table of contents below) is at the “text complete” stage, and I’ve already done basic layout in MS Publisher though the format I’m using is probably a bit clunky for a commercial release. This final layout will be dual columns on an 8½ X 11 page for easy printing. It can also be printed on 11 x 17 in a staged-signature booklet format with a minimum number of actual paper sheets. In this dense format it's roughly 100 pages without the index. This format will be for PDF eBook and personal hard copies. I’ve retained a merged Word master version for use in creating a Kindle release. I’m currently in self-publish mode, since I don’t yet have a ready market to go pitching this to commercial publishers.
Currently, the graphics are all utilitarian, but I'd love to do a version with some aesthetically pleasing illustrations added, and maybe some more interesting fonts.
