Yes, my favorite color and another of my movie faves. Sadly, I have yet to read the book but look very much forward to from all the positive reviews I've gotten. But I was watching it recently and my interest was peaked. I couldn't understand the hand clapping game they were doing but merely "felt" what it meant. I wanted a deeper understanding so I did some research.  The lyrics, to my surprise, were easy to find.

"Me and you, us never part. Makidada. Me and you, us have one heart. Makidada. Ain't no ocean, ain't no sea. Makidada. Keep my sister away from me."

Now, of course, didn't know what the heck Makidada was. This was a bit of a dig and took me a while. But I finally found a source that it is a dialect of Swahili meaning "little sister".

Figured I would share. Teach it to your daughters or your best friend. A sisterly bound is a strong one and everlasting.
