The complexity continuum

That's what I call it... It's a loop we get ourselves into and a simple example is that attic or garage that desperately needs cleaned and has for a long time. We look at it in disgust, convince ourselves this will take forever. We are too tired or don't have time. One day the time comes and we resign ourselves to finally clean that space and when we finally do we discover it took very little time and effort, and it was kind of fun. It was an adventure through personal relics wherein we discover how much about us has or has not changed. Before we jumped into the adventure we were certain that this chore would be torture. And in remaining undone it was. Every time we made an excuse we wasted effort in deceiving ourselves. We have all done it and many of us wind up discovering that everything was much simpler than the little drama in our heads was. See with me now a wider scope of how something seemingly insignificant about our personalities can be a source of turmoil. Absolutely everything in life is only as difficult as you make it. There is no great trauma that others haven't overcome. We all meet catastrophe, loss and shock. Express it and quickly move on. It can be that simple. Go ahead and come up with all the "but's" you want if you must, I would not be posting this publicly if I had not gone to great efforts to discover it to be true. If you doubt it here's the challenge: every night before bed and in the morning before leaving the bed recite in your head or aloud for three minutes " all is simpler than it seems" and after a week or so honestly observe any notable differences in routine work, chores and even interaction with others. A lot of energy goes into creating those little dramas for ourselves. All of that energy is wasted and could be serving a greater purpose. The power of paradigm is ours. Yes there are heinous acts and atrocities much greater than the media represents which plays upon the complexity continuum... Hence all the more reason to detach and keep it all out of field of focus... Create the paradigm. It's that simple... Infinite blessings -MorningStarr
