The importance of Ritual and or Routine. . .

The importance of Ritual and or Routine:

In my facebook Page I write about the misadventures of me and my Kitties. This is no different but this time I sense there is more than meets the eye.

When I came home from grocery shopping I was putting away the food. without any fore thought.  I put away two bags of dry cat food (there was a special 2 for 1) . As I finish putting away the food my big black cat start meowing at me in a very demanding kind of way... I looked around and seen the dry food bowls are mostly full .  I remembered that I fed the two cats wet food that morning but just in case I opened an envelope of the wet food for him and the other cat but when they finished my "Blackie" started in with his kind of meow as if scolding me  ... why is he chewing on my leg for ?

Like the various other rituals we have I forgot this one ... When coming home with new cat food "Blackie" gets to sample store fresh catfood.. But seeing two of the three dry food bowls full I thought this could not be it so with curious mind I went over and opened the bag of new cat food and sure enough it was that .  Though some may wonder why call it a ritual rather than a routine ?

From my stand point one could say it was a routine gone array however, from my cats perspective it was a ritual gone wrong !  funny how the two words have similar actions but totally different meanings ( at least with my cat anyways)

Thanks for reading I actually wrote this as the first thing on my mind today from what happened last night .. LMAO
