The Wicker Tree (a rant)

Okay I am watching the Wicker Tree and it is a far cry from the original. I am not going to talk about the Nicholas Cage in a bear suit in the remake. The Wicker Tree is a farce. The two main characters Beth and her boyfriend are born again Christians preaching in "heathen" Scotland. Its not the bias toward Christians that make them so unlike-able but how they are played out. They are empty shells. And the boyfriend of course hes the first to betray by sleeping with a Scottish lass after wearing a promise ring. I am so tempted to digress on how Born agains claim one thing and do another then look down on us pagans. This movie is just so unrealistic. If it wasn't so laughable I would be offended. Its a piss poor movie.
