This I Know for Sure.
This I Know for Sure:
1. I know that I am still standing, even after all I've been through. I know I can still go on. That I'd never go down without a fight. I can survive anything.
2. One must love him or herself before one loves anyone else. We all spend 24/7 with ourselves and only a fraction of that is spent with someone else. Self love is more fulfilling than any love anyone else can give us.
3. Spirituality is more important than being religious. Spirituality leaves room for a "change of heart" while being religious leaves no room for growth. It is only an inhibitor which becomes a weakness.
4. Each and every one of us are connected by a web of energy that creates a beautiful design on the universal design. No one is exempt from it, even though not all of the people in the world can feel it. We all have a purpose and none of us will perish without completing this mission. We may perish physically, but our spirits see our purpose clearly without the veil of our own perseptions of our purpose.
5. We're all beautiful and magical creatures whether we accept it or not.
6. Wisdom is knowing that there are things in this universe you can't change and knowing you don't know everything. Wisdom is also the ability to open your mind to the endless possibilities in the world and oddly enough, wisdom is knowing that you are NOT invincible.
7. True happiness is finding joy in the simple things in life such as how the grass feels underneath your bare feet, feeling small beside the ocean, listening to your parents sing off key to a song they absolutely love (and enjoying that sound, memorizing their sound because you never know when the last time you'll listen to them sing for the last time), swinging on a swingset at a park, or dancing out on the front lawn in the sprinklers.
8. One of the most beautiful things in the world is looking into a child's eyes.
9. Sometimes love is rough and when that happends, it's a great time to talk about the things that have been weighing on your mind and figuring out a way to overcome them. That's what makes a good relationship a great one.
10. I'd rather be healthy alone, than unhealthy with someone else.
11. Asserting your needs and setting boundaries in your relationships is a sign of true maturity. And strength is sticking to them, no matter how the other party reacts to your needs.
12. We all have our vulnerable moments, we all just deal with them differently.
13. It's important to always end an arguement with the words "I love you" because you never know when the last time you'll talk to that person will be and ugly words are the worst to remember.
14. It's possible to love someone as a human being, but still not want them to be in your life because they are unhealthy for you.
15. Music is the universal language.
16. The world is harsh enough without spreading ugliness. The world would be less harsh if only you spread goodness, that way good karma will come your way.
17. The most attractive features of a person are their heart and soul.
18. It is possible to be naked with someone without having sex with them. Life is more than sex.
19. Touch is essential to human evolution and developement.
20. Money is not the root to all evil---greed is.
21. Life is not black and white, there's a lot of grey area in between.
