Today is a good day!

Though I've been doing freelance work on the side, I've technically been unemployed for three months now, unable to find work. Today, that might be changing!

Last night I was reading the first couple sections on a new witchcraft book I was thinking about buying (the Kindle sample version of Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig). One of the very first things mentioned in the book is to pay attention to our dreams and to keep a dream log. Eventually I became too tired to keep reading and went to bed.

Then, I had a dream (or more accurately, remembered a dream) for the first time in a while. I was standing at the counter in some store paying for something, though I have no idea where or why. I took a $50 bill out of my wallet and handed it to the cashier, who looked at it with a questioning look on her face. I then looked down at it too, and saw that it was bright yellow and laminated, like construction paper, but still had all the normal markings of an American $50 bill. "You don't take fifties?" I asked her, and she shook her head in reply. That's all I remember.

Anyways, I woke up rather late today, but upon checking my phone I noticed that I had a missed call from an unknown number. I checked my voicemail, and it was a job interview offer from a place I had applied months ago! I called them back immediately and let them know I was interested.

Is it a coincidence, or maybe something more? I have no idea. But that doesn't really matter. What's important is that I have an opportunity for the first time in a while, and I couldn't be more thankful!
