I just responded to the thread about the Necronomicon. Over the past 20 years or so, I have wondered why my mom had such a bad reaction to seeing me with the book. I have also wondered why she had a black dress with a hood that she told me she wore to the opera. I just can't see my dad going to the opera with her. The superstitions I grew up with, her fascination with my tarot cards...so now my brain is wondering again...did my mom dabble in the occult at one time? I wonder if she would admit it to me if she had.
