Hi there.....   I think this is the first time I´ve been here since January and I think i am a bit late with that reply to you.  You would think that the coldness would give one more time to be on here!!!     We have had a really bad late Winter and have lost 4 birds including our lovely rooster harvey and a peking duck ....so percy the other peking has attached himself to our muscovy duck.   despite the heat lamps it seems that the Winters really do weed out the weaker ones....   :(    

The weather has been glorious for March but has just changed to rain and looks like it´s set to be colder in April.  Everything is in bud and have many seeds to start planting for our veggie garden.  The growing season is really short here and many things are difficult to grow.

Hey ....Thanks for the gift and the note.      Ha...Two of my girls have decided to start laying again after such a long time.  I know a lot were molting but have never been without eggs. I can only think they had been really scared by something as we have had buzzard problems.   I shall take some photos of them all ....  i have a lot similar to your feathered friends.   

have just seen three red deer stags and they look so well ....even though i have been watching them for years i am always in awe of them..... amazing animals and hopefully they will get through another winter without being hunted!!    

I see you love to garden....does that include veg and herbs?   We have quite a short season here and very late frosts sometimes to the end of may!    i would like to get some more veggies going next year but with so many trees in the garden it´s hard to find space .    i have a lot of wild spaces that are jammed packed with so many wild herbs that i should really make more use of.     It seems that there is so much i want to do in life but have to limit to what is most important.

hey...thanks for stopping by :)   This time of the year gets really busy for me in regards to helping animals in need.   Every year I feed countless deer ,  foxes and birds!   The ecosystem is so messed up cause of man so i like to help out.   We have so much snow every Winter and what i feed hopefully is enough to pull the wildlife through another winter aswell as keeping them from the hunters towers!   Last year i opened my garden up to the deer but the stags destroyed my fruit trees !!

I hope your animals are fine .... do you have really cold winters??   I am chicken watching this past week as the buzzards have been trying to snack on them ......one had a very lucky escape.  i have 11 hens and not one is laying....

Hi   Hope you didn´t mind me peeking at your photos.  i too have a lot of feathered friends and your ducks look just like my pekings!!   I have chickens and geese and other ducks ....  sheep...dogs ...cats...rabbits....guinea pigs.. oh and Janu a blind rescued fox .  hope you are having a great weekend....
