About to lose my mind....

Well this last month has been anything but boring. So far I've matured some, shrank to about 4-inches, and that was just to first two weeks. Over the past couple of days I have "bitten my tongue", come damn close to losing my fucking mind, and now am entirely exhausted...


When I say I've matured a little, I mean a major dose of reality hit me smack dab in the face. Ma' had a mini-stroke at the beginning of the month. She was fine when she left the house that morning, just a little tired and sore. I was waiting for her to get home so I could start dinner. Got a little impatient and tried calling her. No answer. Tried again little bit later, still no answer. A few seconds later a nurse from the hospital called and told me what happened. She had been at the doctors office when it happened. At least it happened there where there was medical help on hand. I started calling some of my moms friends to see if they could take me up there. I couldn't get a hold of no one so I called Uncle Scott at work. We got there and the only thing she could say was "home". Thankfully they let her come home that day. I was expecting this, but not for another few years. We got home and Scott asked Ma' if he wanted him to bless her. He's a Mormon and I guess hes recognized as some kind of minister in the church. I don't really understand it. I don't know why but it made me feel so small. He knows I'm not any sort of Christian, but he doesn't know I'm Pagan. And it is probably best left that way.

A week later Ma's speech was pretty much back. Its still hard for her to say some words but its much better. Damn stubborn hillbilly. Anyway, we went out to a camp site to have dinner with some good friends of ours who are both Pentecostal ministers. Carlyle picked up on Ma's speech pretty quick. She hadn't told either of them but he knew something was wrong. So Patty decided to ask what was up. Ma told em'. Then they asked if they would like them to prey for us. My mom said yeah so did I but a little more reluctantly. They think I'm still a Christian. It was nice of them though.

The next week we found out that the our doctor decided to close his practice. I think he got in some kind of serious trouble. No doctors around here will take my mom because him specifically prescribing her narcotics. She not a pill-popper. She does need them in order for her to have a some what normal life. She has R.S.D. which is a form of M.S. Google it. Don't know why he just decided to up and close it but its annoying.

Wednesday my cousin Rob cam by needing a place to stay. I guess him and Scott got into it again. They can't be in a room together longer than 5-minutes without arguing. Rob is only six months older than and he changes jobs more than I do socks. Of course I'm usually bare foot. He's just had more jobs than any other 20-year-old I've met. But its not all bad having him around. Kinda comforting to have a male in the house at night.

Yesterday Ma' sent Rob over to our grandmothers to take hr socks off. I guess when he got there she was having a real hard time breathing. He came back, got Ma, called an ambulance then sat in the ER till 3:00 A.M. I stayed awake all night because they needed some to make sure they both got up for work in the morning. I fell asleep around 7:00 A.M. and woke up around 9:00 A.M. Ma' was already up so I got Rob up. After they left I messed around with some things then took a three hour nap. John tried to call me and that's what got me up. I was kinda fazing in and out anyway.

And that's pretty much all of whats been going on. I know I may seem self-centered in my blog posts (I'm an only child so I some what am) but I like to use this as a place to vent and put down whats happening in text. I feel old... Oh I almost forgot. The day Ma' came home, after Scott had left she had asked me to call Eddie (her ex-boyfriend, fucking drunk). I did. It took every single bit of my will power to keep from screaming at him. I can't stand him... I just can't... He came over and I ducked outta the house for about an hour and went to the store. He left a couple of minutes later when I got back.

About the highlight of the month was that we finally got digital cable. Still don't get Starz or HBO, but we do get SciFi, the Encore channels, and BBC America.
