Prayer for the soldiers

Mother, I know you are with us always. You watch over our soldiers and protect them.

Father, you are there when they are in the heat of battle. You see them when they are victorious and when they fall.

We ask you to embrace our fallen brothers and sisters.

Hold them in your arms, and bear them to the other side.

We ask you to guide our warriors through the danger and the dark.

Bring them back to familiar shores to be embraced by loving family and caring friends.
