Self fulfilling prophecies

Self fulfilling prophecies fulfill themselves,
Clearly - believing in something strongly enuff and
It will manifest itself in some fashion...

In Navajo Medicine it is said,

"If the patient really has confidence in the Medicine Man,
then he gets cured. If he has no confidence in the Medicine Man, then that is his problem."

We humans are alike as magnets,
calling events towards us according to our inner beliefs and dreams.
Dream it with strongly focused intent, as we shamans do,
and the Multiverse will respond.
My dream will Manifest, though with a time lag...
During which one must hold fast to the intent.

A shaman must move past teh dominance of the habitual internal
(un)conscious dialogue.
We keep recreating our life similarly to what has been,
even tho we might change the players and the places.
Any previous experience form childhood on which it has not been resolved will cause insanity...
Repitition over and over until addressed and resolved.

Society does not matter to a shaman,
It does not exist, but only as a brief flash in the scheme of Life.
So trivial items of debt, revenge, anger, and possessions...
Are of no consequence in the Multiversal Consciousness.

Altruism, selfishness, jealousy, love, affection....
all these are but Human emotes...

To progress forward on must give Unconditionally, open and free;
when constraints are incorporated the thought flow is compromised...
all is to no avail..
Seek out long term solutions vs. the short quick fix solutions for foundations and stability.

I guess the big question is in what way will said belief manifest itself? While I'm a big believer in the power of morale I don't think believing in something strongly enough, no matter how strongly, will ultimately result in that belief manifesting in any meaningful sense.

This attitude is common in almost all magical beliefs throughout the world. If the magic fails to do what it's expected to do it isn't that the magic failed it's that the ritual/spell/whatever wasn't done properly.

Here's where I start having a problem. If I stub my toe on the curb is it because I was calling such an event towards me? How about when someone smashed the window of my vehicle and rifled through it for valuables? I suppose I could provide some more extreme examples of bad things happening to people that I doubt they asked for but I think you get the jist of what I'm saying.

on the first...does it matter how it manifests? what you think is what you get....if you see it neg then it will be, if you see it otherwise then it will be....this has nothing to do with morale..it does have something to do with being accountable for your thoughts and concepts....

being responsible for you is more what this is about....if you do a certain action neg then it will boomerang back 10 fold not a very nice thing...but it done pos then it is a very nice thing...so bottom line here is if you think or do something, attempt to do it pos ongoing so that you will have great karma and also relations with the other living entities in/on this world....

well in the case of the window i will address this first.....what thoughts prior to the event were you having?? fear of someone stealing anything is enuff to set it off.....everyone manifests something that they are responsible for their actions.....

the point on this is that if you have secret thoughts or fear of something happening then it will happen....whether you intended it to or not....has been proven over and over again.....wont get into here any further.....

as d'argstar says,"to let go of things and emotions that would hinder my progress" is one of the ways to prevent attracting something you do not wish to happen....

also remember this....if you have a lot of possessions that you dont own them, they own you.....and of course the inner fear of becoming homeless .....if you live from paycheck to paycheck like most do then that is a hidden secret fear that you are unconscious of and it runs your life in what you do or not......

just a point of reference......most are just a paycheck away from being homeless and it is more prevalent now with all the costs rising and not being compensated by the wages as cost of living increases........sad but true....

I have to remember to let go of things and emotions that would hinder my progress. It's easy to become entrenched in negative emotions and seeing only the obstacles that stand in my way. I have to remind myself to enjoy all I have and all I am, and to see that there is ALWAYS a way around ANY obstacle.
I DO see others who constantly put forth "self-fulfilling" prophecies, in actuality they CALL these things to themselves...and I HAVE seen some who have come to realize it and work beyond it. And it can be something as simple as NOT buying a lottery ticket because..."I NEVER win these things"! (no, I'm NOT suggesting everyone run out and buy a lottery ticket, this is just an example! LOL!)
I have had some people ask me how I KNOW a spell I cast will work and have the results I desire...because I KNOW! They ask "aren't you afraid that it won't work or that it will backfire?" NO! Because I don't even entertain such possibillities...my MIND doesn't work that way! LOL!
Anway! My point? None really, other than "I AGREE"! LOL!

If you continually say, for example, "I will NOT lose my job" ..."lose my job" is all it hears. If you say "I will NOT get sick", "get sick" is all it hears. Positive thoughts are straight forward so if you tell yourself, "I am WELL", rather than "I won't get sick" that's what you get. "My job is secure" is better than "I won't lose my job". I've seen time and time again people say they are not something or something won't happen to them...INVARIABLY they become what they say they aren't or what they proclaim WON'T happen to them does. One MUST be careful in how one thinks and approaches the Universe...it CAN be TRICKSY! LOL!

the trick/lesson here is that you are given something to deal with and the Multiverse doesnt care whether you like it or not; ur ready for the challenge or otherwise it wouldnt have presented the lesson to you.....teaching is its way .....as coyote i know....lol
