How dorky/nerdy/ or just down right geeky are you?

I am on this ever ending quest to see how many dorks, geeks, or nerds are out here. Once again I will start with myself.

1. I love the Sci-Fi channel. Even though I do not have cable or a dish, I do have the internet.
2. I am a Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and all types of fantasy crap nut. Oh Aragon you come into my dreams every once in a great while.
3. Why is it I can carry on a conversation with my fiance about the ins and outs of Star Wars? You guessed it dork.
4. I love the new Battlestar Galatica. Can anyone say Lee Adama is a hottie! wow. I would frack him.
5. I find British television so much more enlightening and the comedies. Yeah. The Brits got it going on!
6. RPG ruled! Until I grew out of it
7. Second life and other virtual worlds ruled! Until the drama got to intense and people really thought it was their first life.
8. I think science is hot, cold, warm, and tempered.
9. I can do the Vulcan handshake thingy
10. I know what frack really means.

So are you brave enough to let everyone else know who dorky, nerdy, or just down right geeky you are?

#2. I like Buffy, Angel, and Firefly but my life doesn't revolve around Whedon's shows.

#3. These days I mostly read non-fiction but that's because I'm always studying.

#4. I still have my comic book collection though I stopped collecting years ago. I didn't outgrow comic books I just got sick of having to buy multiple titles to follow a storyline or having the storyline of a title I read interrupted by a storyline originating in another title. (comic fans should know what I mean)

I think it probably started with Voyager and it all went down hill from there. Now Star Trek is like an ex-girlfriend and everything I used to tolerate now annoys me to no end. I have zero interest in the new Trek movie coming out.

2. I've actually attempted to find a source to learn the Atreides' hand signals.
3. My "personal corner" is occupied by a computer, 2x monitors, a XBox 360, a Wii and a TV.
4. I think DnD 4.0 is utter BS.
5. I play World of Warcraft (ok.. that one ALONE should be the winner lol)
6. Not only do I play WoW, I have multiple max level characters.
7. I took 2 weeks off of work, when the first WoW expansion pack first came out.
8. I took a week off of work, when EverCrack 2 first came out.
9. I used to have a subscription to, "Heavy Metal"
10. I have a stack of computer game boxes that is 10 ft. tall (I kid you not!)
11. I randomly read psychology text books, "for fun".
12. Darth Vader is pure awesomeness.

All this talk about Star Trek reminded me. Has anyone else ever seen "Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys"? Its sort of based on Star Trek, and there's always a "red shirt" that gets it. LMAO And Shao Lin reminds me an awful lot of T'Pol from Enterprise.; ▶ Reply to This
