Do You Have a Familiar?

Do you have a familiar? what is it if you dont mind my asking....

How do you know if you have a familiar?

Do you just flat out ask "it" if it would like to be your familiar?

I have always wanted one but i dont quite know how to go about obtaining one. I have 2 fishes that i love and i have a cat. shes a indoor kitty but i had to put her out last week because we arent s'posed to have pets cept fishes....so she ran off and was gone for a week....came back crying on my porch...i let her back in...i hope she didnt get pregnant...but now she wont shut up. i think she's just telling me how much she HATED being outside. whatever she's saying i have no idea because i dont understand what meow means.. She doesnt even get in the window anymore to look outside. LOL. Im glad she's back i just wish she would shut up! anyway back to the familiars....how in the world do you know? when i actually type it out it seems like a silly question but i need answers.....thanks guys and gals...LOL

i guess i will find out....maybe daphne isnt my familiar but a protector of my children...since she's been back along with the non stop meowing she has been stuck up under them and literally stuck up under me. when im on the computer she lies under the chair...

She was so protective and loving...if I cried, she'd come up to me, sit on my chest and literally lick away my tears, if someone was hurting me, she'd run right out and attack them. Sadly, my parents got rid of her...although they still don't admit it, it's kind of obvious they hated her. =\ Now I don't have any familliar.

Permalink Reply by Tamara on August 31, 2008 at 9:16pm: actually i think my familiar is my snake. i wasn't looking for a pet or anything, my boyfriend had been wanting a snake for a long time and one day some people came over that i had never met and offered to sell him a snake for $40.00 well we didn't have the money so we had to pass. a few days later they bring the snake and just give it to us because its young and needs handled and they don't have the time to spend with it. so despite having turned it down we got it anyways. and it has become attached to me. i didn't know snakes even formed attachments but there is a distinct difference in its behavior when i get it out of the aquireum and when preston gets it out even though we have handled it about the same amount and usually at the same time. it's my snake even thought it wasn't suppose to be it has chosen me, not the other way around; ▶ Reply to This
