I, personally, do believe that were-creatures (or were-beings, which ever) exist. I think there are too many stories throughout history, and throughout the world, for them not to be real. However, other than that, I really don't have any real reason to believe they exist. I haven't ever seen one, don't personally know anyone who is or even claims to be one, and don't even know anyone personally who claims to have seen one. And yet, I have a strong belief that they do exist, that they are real. What are your veiws on them? What do you think about them, and why? What is YOUR opinion?

My honest opinion is that werefolk do exist, however the perception of them is often flawed.

I have often felt that I was a werefolk, although I cannot be sure. It is much easier to find if one is a Vampyre, simply because they are much easier to find and relate to. Here is my opinion of being a werefolk, in indeed that is what I am. Keep in mind that as personal as these experiences are, I haven’t shared many of them with other people in the flesh.

Being a werewolf is not all of the Hollywood hoopla that they throw at you. I don’t go into uncontrollable rages whenever I see a full moon. The full moon is merely the time where a spirits ability to manifest becomes most potent. The lines are blurred, and things once considered concrete become nothing. I don’t have an allergy to silver. I often joke about my allergy to nickel, but that is hereditary, nothing more. The easiest way I can explain it is like having an outside spirit taking residence within you. Now while that may sound like possession, imagine for a moment that the spirit within you only wishes to act in your highest will’s best interest. You feel it everywhere, and eventually you take on characteristics of your guardian animal.

The old Native American’s believed that everyone has a guardian animal. This is true. Some of us are just more in tune with our guardian spirit than others.

Now, can I shapeshift into a lumbering war machine? Oh, by all that is good I wish I could. Only a very few have been able to transcend the physical bonds of reality to become there animal, however this isn’t very practical.

For me, being a werefolk means listening to the guardian within you, trusting it to guide your instincts to protect you along your path. Everyone has an animal spirit. It is my belief that by focus and practice through both inhibitory and exhibitory meditation that anyone can become in tune with their guardian spirit.

Now whether or not this is true, I believe that it is true for me. Find your element. Find your animal. Listen to your instincts. Believe.

And that is all I have to say.

Blessed be

This is a web site based on people's beliefs and the sharing of those beliefs. To belittle someone else's is offensive to me.

Am I not allowed to disBELIEVE other people's beliefs? If you don't like what I have to say just ignore it like a lot of people here do. (= Doesn't offend me one bit.

And to answer the original question asked, no I don't believe in "creatures" such as werewolves and vampyres. I believe that other people believe in these things and that they believe they are actually these things. There's a woman in my town who believes she is the lost queen of mars... Do I believe she is actually queen of anything? No. Do I believe she believes she's queen of the red planet? Why not. I'd really like to understand these different self-images though. Like, what makes you, Howl_FireWolf think you're a werefolk? So anyone who has a strong relationship with their animal spirit is a werewolf? What if the animal guide isn't a wolf, but a snake? Or a mongoose? Please help me understand. [=

It's not like they would be a snake or a mongoose your taking the P there but your right on your earlier comment of being allowed to believe something doesn't exist just ask pavlor what i think about demons ((deamons for pav ;) ))

ust ask pavlor what i think about demons ((deamons for pav ;) ))

But I would definitely make fun of you Mismyname as your belief in demons stems from Hollywood movies and what kids said in the playground when you were at school. Was that a joke? *lol* I have tried to give you information regarding Daemons but you willfully refuse to read any info you've been given. In my eyes, that is more tragic than believing what you see in films and what you hear 9 year olds saying o_O

I do not think that replying to your statement would be benificial to either of us. It seems you've already made up your mind

If your animal spirit is a snake, then it would be a were-snake. If it is a cat, then it would be a were-cat. Oh, and I beleive what lyte-na-kye was saying is yes, you can say you don't agree with me, just, please, don't do it in a sarcastic or insulting way. If you have a strong opinion about this, you can express it without being insulting, can you not?
