New Oak Leaves Tattoo

I finally got it done. It's just the beginning of the whole but I am happy with it!
When I told the artist what I wanted done he gave me an odd look. I guess oak branches aren't the norm for him LOL

It was suggested that I do something of the sort on my sternum too.
Oddly enough, by an old woman at the counter in a Rite Aid. I found out that she's Pagan and despite being about 72, has a "thing" for guys with tattoos. LOL; ▶ Reply to This

He'll probably touch up and add a lil more detail to the existing tattoo while he's at it. Although I'm happy with the work done, I've found a better artist and a much better price.

It's almost addicting and I've been impatient in having to wait to finish it! I'll be working the bindrune on my back into it also. LOL It's funny how the design keeps getting bigger and more elaborate in my mind.; ▶ Reply to This

Just wait when you hear the hum of the gun, even just visiting a shop, you'll start thinking about getting something done. Tattoos are a progression, along with artist choice, I dont know many people that have multiple tats and are totally loyal to one artist or shop. I started small on my inner wrist, went bigger on the outer, progressed to larger on my shoulder, on to a side piece(waist to armpit), the greenman on my chest is smaller than my side one, but the detail makes up for it...........Stop me before I ink again!!!!!!! OOOO wait tomorrow is another dragon......starting on my right wrist now.

He says he can go over the shoulder I just had done to match the new one. I can't wait to get some pics of it up here. You'll see.

I already have plans for the rest of it and I trust this guy to do the knotwork Hammer on my sternum the way I want it.; ▶ Reply to This
