I have been getting quite a few inquiries about my faith. In response to the "Are you a Christian-Pagan" question; no, I am not. I am a Christian in every sense of the word. (United Church of Christ: http://www.ucc.org/)
I was Christened, I follow the teachings of Jesus (compassion, patience, tolerance) and try my darn'dest to live my life as a good Christian. I use the Bible and the teachings of Jesus to guide me everyday.

Having just read the response, above, to the inquiries into your faith, I must tell you it makes me very happy to see that you (and, no doubt, others of your branch of Christian practice and church) do work to follow the teachings of Jesus, rather than the teachings of some Christians who shape His and other's words in the Bible to suit their own agenda. From my perspective, the teachings of Jesus are very valid and well-suited to climate in our country today -- if only all Christians would follow them similarly. This is not a judgement, but an observation...

I'm curious as to how Christian occultism fits into the practice of your faith, and -- in truth -- interested in learning what occultism is from a Christian perspective. In that occult refers to hidden/secret/mysteries, and that in all faiths there are a certain number of mysteries, the terminology fits, but I'm interested in how it fits...
