My First Blog Post.

I just found Paganspace yesterday, and I'm loving it! There seems to be quite a few nice people here and lot's of very interesting and intelligent conversations going on as well. And silliness; got to have silliness. I'm love'n it here so far! I've come back to paganism/wicca/witchcraft (lol) after being in an abusive cult like church for 7 years. I had been a Christian for about 12 of those years. Now I'm back to what feels like home to me. I'm still dealing with the fear of Hell stuff, but I'… Continue

About Me:
I'm a sensitive, witty, funny, loving, caring person who is famous for her great hugs she gives to people and for her warm smile that lights up rooms. Er, well, so I've been told anyway... *shifty eyes* I'm also a very spiritual Irish Cherokee woman. Mostly Irish, and I do have a bit of Blackfoot as well. ;) I just returned to the Pagan path after years of being brainwashed in an abusive church. And when I say abusive, I mean it was borderline cult. There were a few people who wound up in therapy because of that place. I wound up in a psych ward. *shudder* But I'm healing and making progress. I still deal with the fear of going to hell stuff, but I feel like with Wicca, I'm coming home. It just feels right to me. I was a pagan before I got into Christianity, and now I'm coming back. So horay for getting better!
Favorite Books
The Hitchhiker series by Douglas Adams, The Lord of the Rings, The Neverending story, The vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice (I love her)

How did you find PaganSpace?
I just kind of stumbled on it, you know, going off on internet tangents. Go to a page, click a link there, click another link, find another page.... you get the drift.

Me again. I was brainwashed by the church for 15 yrs, became agnostic for awhile and thankfully found the Goddess. Whereas ,I walk a very eclectic path because of the truth and wisdom I find in different traditions. I am of European and Native American bloodlines as well and equally balanced on contributions of genectic stuff....LOL! as for the hell concept....I don't stuggle with it the way I used to. Learing in world civ. class that the early etruscan peoples of Italy were a civilization that introduced the 'concept' of the christian version of hell. Psychologically speaking, fear is a good way to control people, unless you lose the fear. I hope for your healing on that because fear sometimes can be crippling and that sucks....been there. Bright Blessings and welcome home! tf
