About Me:

domestic arts engineer. You know - mom, and wife - that means I'm at home all the time for now. I would like to get back into school at some point, and/or get a job. What I want most is to get an aprenticeship for tattooing. I was in the army for 4 years as a metal worker - I've had one other welding job after that - it only paid about $8/hr - so I quit - too much work for not enough $$ after that I whent to school and lived off of my GI Bill. It worked for a little while, but I got behind on bills. I was a single mom at the time and was lucky when my now husband came into my life and to make the long storey shorter - he basicly rescued me from having to move back to live with my parents who drive me insane. More than that - it was love at first site. I finally found my soul mate. I ended up having our daughter and staying home with the kids instead of sending them to daycare and getting a job or going to school. I just don't trust day care with my baby. Now, my son will be in school soon. I'm not crazy about letting someone else care for him - but that's a natural mom reaction. I need to have a life outside of raising kids - as much as I love them.
Well that's more than enough info.
Oh, and I grew up in New Orleans. Have two parents with artistic and creative abilities, and an artist step-father, with two late artist parents. Ever hear of Collet or Knute Heldner? Maybe not, but Knute has had paintings on display in the Museums of N.O. I've never met him - died way before I was born - but Collet a.k.a. Grandma Collet to me always kept paper and crayons for me and my sister at her house for when we visited on Sundays as children. Her paintings were always all over the tiny apartment she had. So, I grew up with a pretty strong background in art on both the nurture and nature sides.

Wheel of Time series, Ender's Game Series - lots of SciFi/Fantasy, and Edgar Allen Poe - not many pagan books

I've never bothered to lable myself. I just fallow my heart and try to listen to my spirit. I'm learning to listen to nature as well. I could hear the wind talking. I've listened to the grass grow in Spring, and heard old trees talking to me - saying "welcome back" in a place I had lived in long ago. I need tolearn to listen more though.
Needless to say - I believe in reencarnation and that everything has a spirit. Some vehicles have spirits too;D

Hobbies

arts and crafts - I love to make stuff. I paint, draw, embroider, sew, crochet, and more. If I can figure out how to make something - I will. I don't feel like myself if I go too long with out creating.

Without my husband I don't know where I'd be - probably miserable.

Likes

animals, children - esp well behaved children lol, gypsy style and gypsy stuff, plants, color, tattoos, wepons, vampire movies, making things by hand, and well made hand made things, Art Nouvuea, Spring, the smells of dirt, cut grass, rain, saw dust, baby sweat, and fresh fruit, the beauty of nature, the moon, sparkly things..... and I love my husband a whole lot!

Well, I don't like a lot of things, but I try not to hate anything. It is true that everything happenes for a reason, though I may not always understand it. The best thing about a lot of the things that we don't like, is that many of them can be changed. You can dislike a thing, but love a cause. Maybe the reason for the thing that you don't like is the need for you to take action and change it!

My baby belly and love handles. Lol. - I can change that!
When I don't understand something, or don't get a joke. - I useually try to figure things out till they make sence - with jokes though, by then they aren't funny anymore.
People that lie for no good reason - like other than keeping others from being hurt - and people that lie way too much.- well that's up to them to change isn't it?!
I have a deep distane for people that hurt innocent children and , animal and child abuse and neglect. I'm pissed off about people that breed over and over, and can't keep their kids because they won't work, do drugs, or bring them into an abusive home, ect., so the state takes them away, and then the go have more and do it all aggain. - as horrible as it is, it still happens for a reason.
I can't stand Religious Intolerance and those that feel the need to save me or convert me - but I can tolerate it to a point - you have to be polite and tell them - "Thanks, I'm not intersted."
