I am an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and I have a private practice with my partners Dr. Mark and Dr. Jeb. I am just entering my first semester with Capella University to pursue my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I have a lot facing me in the next 2 years. I am not new to working in the psych field, or in mental health. 7 years of working in it some time back.
However, to be brief, I know it is different in NY and different laws and issues rule there, and are not the same as in Texas where I live. What I am needing to know is whether you know of any work programs that are encouraged by the APA nationally, that provide for students entering their Masters programs to work part time or temporarily for Licensed Psychologist/Psychiatrists. Like a mentors program that will aid in credits towards additional Internship served?

Do you know of anything like this in Texas or through any Mental Health Facility branches?
