A Faery Dream

Not so far away the faeries play
They dance all night and sing all day
I've seen the circles where they flourish
Yet, to walk inside, I lack the courage
Patiently I do wait
For indeed I know I have their trait
Quickly, I am aware of my gifted sight
All of a sudden my wings take flight
Could it be...? I was born as one of them?
Open arms... they welcome me
To be as whimsical and free as thee
Now I can easily say
I honor and cherish the moments that I too...
Can dance all night and sing all day
