About Me:
I'm a 16-year-old high school girl, but don't make assumptions about me. I've never watched Buffy or Charmed, I am not dripping with pagan jewlery (I haven't even left the broom closet yet) and I'm not trying to be cool or piss off my parents. I'm smart, and learning is a passion of mine. I read books like drinking water. Fantasy and nonfic spirituality books are my favorite, but I'll pretty much read anything.
Besides reading, there are two things that in my life that have changed how I view the world, give me sustanace, make me immensely happy and grateful for my life, and frequently cause me to question averything around me. The first is colorguard, which I won't get into detail with. If you don't know what it is, the there's nothing I can say. Almost all my team mates in my high school guard are my friends, and I'm filled with joy to be with them pretty much all the time and to perform beside them. And of course, my instructers are amazing people who opened my eyes to, well, everything.
The second is my sprituality, which at the moment doesn't really have a name. Pagan for sure, but I'm still trying different paths out. Wicca was my original interest, but after thinking for a while, I'm not sure it's exactly what I'm looking for. In the meantime, I just marvel and respect life, nature, and the Goddess and God while learning about the craft.
Yeah, I talk alot. Ironic, since I'm incredibly shy. Meh. Anyway, I'm pretty new to paganism, but I've never been so sure of anything in my life. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, and I look foward to spending my life being pagan.
Favorite Books
The Spiral Dance (and anything else by Starhawk) , His Dark Materials series, Harry Potter series, The Lovely Bones, anything by Stephenie Meyer, Holly Black, Sarah Dessen, and the bazzilion million other books I've read that don't come immediantly to mind
Beliefs / Practices
Pagan, Witch
Hobbies
Reading, music, color guard, being with friends, learning [/nerd]
Heroes
Starhawk and my instructor Jason Davis
Likes
Colorguard, reading, learning, listening to music, shopping, the interweb, my friends, nature, meditating, chocolate, movies, storms, my sabre, my team mates <3
Dislikes
Math, close-minded people, mornings, crappy music (aka rap)
What kind of Pagan are you?

You scored as Ecclectic Pagan

A veritable blend of all the pantheons and perhaps a dash of a few other religions as well, you're the versitile Ecclectic Pagan. You have no problem wearing an ankh while setting an offering to Herne on your alter just below your image of Hera. You don't believe in coloring within the lines, and are a bright free-thinker. While you respect the views of your fellow pagans, as far as you're concerned, religion is the sky, and there's no one about to clip your wings with lines and limitations.

4th of July fun. NOT.

Well, I had an interesting 4th. All temp employes of the city (aka ME) were required to work last night for the big city party/firework show. I was assigned to the parking lot, which means I had the joys of dealing with FUCKING IDIOTS. "But I don't wanna pay to park!" THEN GTFO OF THE PARKING LOT. "I want to park right there!" TOO FUCKING BAD. YOU'RE PARKING WERE WE TELL YOU TO. "Durrrrr, how do I park car correctly??" LEARN TO FUCKING DRIVE. And my favorite: "Okay, I'll give you a 20. It co… Continue

I FREAKING LOVE MY NEW JOB

MY JOB. I FUCKING LOVE IT. Seriously, I think I'm going to have a great summer ahead of me. I've already fallen in love with the 11 kids I'm in charge of. All of them. They're all great kids, 8-9 years old, no problem kids or anything. The little girls are so sweet. They were all over me, hugging me and holding my hand during our garden walk. We're not really supposed to hug the campers, but what the hell. Hugging is not akin to rapeing. And I'm getting along with my fellow counselors. Goose and… Continue

If you can't drink, gamble, or see the male strippers, then there's no fucking point in going to Las Vegas

It's true. The only thing for anyone under 21 to do is go swimming and shopping and stare longingly at the Chippendale posters. Swimming was a no-no, since I broke my toe on Sunday playing hide-and-seek with my 5-year-old cousin -_- Seriously, wtf is wrong with me?? Last time I got hurt playing in the snow, and my friends teased me for months. Now hide-and-seek? Oh boy. Luckily, it was just my baby toe, and not my driving foot. I can already walk, thanks to ice and tylenol. But walking for too l… Continue

I got the job!

They told me they'd call in a week, so when they didn't I assumed I didn't get the job. But they called me on Friday. I'm going to be a summer camp counselor! It's basically all summer, 8:30-3:30, monday through friday, minimum wage. And it's OUTSIDE. ALL DAY. Honestly, I'm not even sure what the hell I'm thinking. I love nature, and the camp site is this beautiful garden/forest, but not when it's over 95 degrees. The only good things about this are a) I get to work with kids, and b) I calculate… Continue

Out to my english class???

Um. Wow. I clearly remember saying that I didn't feel like coming out to my englsih class despite all our amazing discussions on religion we've been having. Apperently, the Goddess felt otherwise. When Mrs Garner was like "BTW since we're having such fabulous talks about religious beliefs, what kind of religions do we have in here besides christianity? =D" And I was thinking, Oh hell no. I will just sit here quietly and listen to this Indian girl describe hinduism. I will not speak. And then my… Continue

Hey love,
Tonight, we drink too much to honor the "good" St. Patrick for driving the Snakes from Ireland. I like snakes, but I would drink to almost anything with you, whether I was buying or not. I hope you are enjoying St. Pattie's Day as much as I am. You can come on down for a cold one if you like, I have Guinniss, Bud light (green one) and Smithwichs. The bottles are in the frig. to go with corned beef w/cabbage and potatos.
Much Love, Huggs and Kisses,
Bob

Yeah, I know. I did a good bit of digging around and couldn't find any. I guess you just have to throw yourself out there huh? The people I've met so far have all been really nice though.

I'd love to have a pagan wedding, but I wonder how my family would react! Oh boy, no one would show up! Ah, well. They'll be the ones missing out.

I want to go to Pagan festivals and things like that, but if I don't come out to my parents... I don't think it'll be possible. D:

I'm debating making a club, because I'm not on enough to be able to run it properly. :|

We do the same thing. >:3

I only know two people who are Wiccan and one of my friends is studying Paganism with me. That's pretty much it. In the summer of '09 I might go to one of my Wiccan friends wedding though. She's having a Wiccan wedding and I'm going to be a bridesmaid or something like that. :3

I hope I'll be out of the broom closet by then! My parents and a lot of my family and friends don't know. x_x

I think making a teenage group would be very helpful for a lot of people. :O

My friends and I sing them all the time, we'll just be talking then brake out into song. "Joaannaaaa I feeeel you Joaaannaa!" None of as can sing as well. I love it. ;D

I'm going to make one of my friends join so there's more people our age. Maybe we can make a group or something for teens. :O

I am in the dark beside you, even now I'm at your window....

I know! It's so hard to find people close to our age on here. x_x

That whole entire scene made me die of laughter. The whole time he was just looking like "Why am I here?" When they where getting "married" was great, too. I can't wait 'til I can buy it. My friend already has the soundtrack. :D
