Peace, Love, and Serenity to all!

The Scorpio sign is the only astrology sign that has three animals in its totem. I am lucky enough to be a Scorpio, and to harvest the power of each of these three animals.
The first and most obvious would be the scorpion. This small, yet strong, and determined animal earned its way into the heavens by stinging and killing Orion in revenge for the Goddess, of hunt and revenge, Artemis. Thus earning the right to the phrase (solely in my opinion) “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” Emotional as we may be, if you hurt us we will sting you. A Scorpion is also known for its seducing appearance, hence the affect a Scorpio has on most people.
The second animal in the Scorpio totem would be the Eagle. Wise, and courageous this animal holds the key to our temperament and composure. The eagle may be fierce at times, but this beautiful animal also knows how to handle a sticky situation in a very composed and clever manner, thus always or most of the time, at the very least, achieving its goal and retrieving its prey.
The third and hardly least animal in the totem would be the mystical and magnificent Phoenix. This now mythical bird was the reason for our emotional stability and defeat. Beautiful and seductive even more so than the Eagle and Scorpion, this bird was known to rebirth itself in times of hardship to run away from fear or to start a new beginning when it felt to be the right time. Its tears were also thought to hold a magical healing power, thus being able to heal fast ourselves or heal others quickly as well. Emotionally or physically.
There are some that believe that the third animal was a Dove and not a Phoenix. I choose to believe it was the Phoenix because any explanation of the Dove just doesn’t seem to fit a Scorpios personality. A Dove is more for peace and tranquility. And while we have the ability to be that person as well it is more often than not the personality of the Phoenix that lives inside of us. However, you choose whats best for you.
