Yesterday, I convinced my mom to let me have an altar in my bedroom (the reason i asked permission is because i felt it wouldn't feel right if i didn't have my mom's consent within her house). So, today i swung by Ben Franklin craft supplies, which usually has a good variety of candles and whatnot, but today they only had white, offwhite and red. recently, i stopped caring and stopped hiding my pentacle necklace under my shirts. i walk around the house, my mom notices it...i tell her about pagan beliefs and that i go to this metaphysical shop nearby... so she'd have to be pretty stupid not to know. i'm wondering if it's even worth it to have a direct discussion about it. i'm still pretty new to paganism, so i don't think now is the time to come out of the broom closet. it's just been something that's on my mind.
