About Me:: My spiritual path is very important to me and I cannot/will not separate it from my mundane life. I'm a born tree-hugger too. I find being green to be an easy and enjoyable thing to do. I'm initiated as a Second Degree Wiccan Priestess and am embarking on my Third Degree training. I'm proud of what I've achieved so far. The training is long and hard but more than worth it! But though I've chosen a formal path of training, I truly believe that for some, less formal routes of training are preferred and perfectly acceptable. Degrees do NOT make me better than anyone else. They simply indicate the depth of formal training I've undergone...a bit like a college degree. But, reading the map is not the same as treading the path so experience counts! The biggest benefits of formal training, IF you have found a good teacher, like I have, then they show you things that you CAN learn on your own but it may take you many, many years to learn that such a thing even exists. Also, formal training can teach you to avoid certain pitfalls in the Craft that you may not have been aware of and saves you the pain of those mistakes.
