Beliefs / Practices: Pagan, Witch, Wiccan

Other Beliefs/Practices: Some people call it "kitchen witch," others "hedge witch." I'm not picky as to what word people use to describe the way I practice. What it means is, I try to incorporate divinity and spirituality into my everyday life and activities. Cooking a meal, taking a shower, getting dressed, are all opportunities to worship and make magic.

Hobbies: cooking, candle making, scrapbooking, sewing, crocheting, making my own bath products and cosmetics, and several other crafts; writing short fiction and poetry; shopping at thrift stores; reading all kinds of books

Likes: red lipstick; trashy novels; wild natural places; cute shoes; socks with toes; Shakespeare on the stage (or on the screen); good food, red wine, dark beer, strong coffee.

Dislikes: Rude behavior.

PUPS!

There are two pups in Oreo's nest today! Usually gerbil mothers have at least three, and sometimes if there are only one or two, they won't be able to stimulate the mother's milk flow; so I'm a little worried. Let's hope they make it. For now, pictures!

Mating activity...again?

Okay, so a couple days ago, I saw Huey and Oreo mating again. I'm pretty sure this means Oreo was not already pregnant. So I guess I should mark my calendar again. I hope there will be pups soon! When there are pups, there will be pictures.

Mating activity today

Mark your calendars, if you care; Huey and Oreo were seen mating today, so in 24 to 28 days, we should have gerbil pups. I'll share pictures if I can find the digi. Yay!

Pups?

In about a month, maybe less, there may be gerbil pups. I have put Oreo together with Huey and they have bonded. I haven't seen any mating, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been mating. We'll see what develops.

One of my gerbils died. Mags sad.

Sugar Doodle got sick Thursday night, and I gave her some antibiotic drops by mouth, but she didn't get better. She passed away on Friday. I wish she had gotten better instead. I liked her; I'm not ashamed to play favorites among my gerbils, and she was my favorite. She was nervous and skittish and didn't like to be picked up.
