This week Im mostly reading 1) "The Goddess Path" by Patricia Monaghan. Its a nice collection of Goddess stories. There are about 13 Goddesses in all mentioned in this book and im quite enjoying it. The little bits of advice at the end of every chapter on how to create your own ritual to honour Her are great! 2) "Mama Lola" by Karen McCarthy Brown. What a fascinating book! Im looking forward to Lughnasadh. Its only a couple of weeks away. Hopefully the weather will pick up so that I can celebrate outside. I have celebrated Litha as purely DIanic and Lughnasadh will be my second Sabbat as Dianic. Normally i would have honoured Lugh at this point in the Wheel, but i can't wait to try something new. Everyday for the last week, I have searched for any resemblance of a Dianic community in Ireland on the internets. And everyday i get nothing! I would love to have the same sort of structures in place that places in the US have. Most of the books i have read paint pictures of a women supporting women community and alas that is not the case in Ireland.
