- About Me:
- I've recently discovered that I may be a sort of walking contradiction. I am a person of great personal faith and have a strong connection to my own beliefs. Although, I struggle with ideas of religion. I am a spiritual being through and through, but I reason things with an analytical mind. It may not make sense to anyone but me but I will try and explain myself as best I can. But onto the more general answers...
I'm a geek with an artsy fartsy twist. I've been a practicing pagan for 10 years and an avid tarot reader for l5 years. I have worked with large groups as well as small groups, but I always enjoy meeting new people and sharing thoughts and experiences. I've found that a great deal of personal insight can be found by talking to other's about their beliefs. I have my 2nd degree in one tradition but prefer to work in the smaller close knit coven setting, as well as just simply on my own.
- Favorite Books
- I'm a verocious reader! I have to admit though, if something doesn't grab my attention quick, if I put it down I may just walk away and never come back. I will admit I am a book worm.
I enjoy a variety of fiction and nonfiction. I really enjoy the History or science thriller's. Michael Crichton and Robin Cook are both wonderful fiction authors.
I enjoy a variety of spirituality books, crafting, cooking, history, how to, mythology, herbalism, books on Faery spirituality. This may take awhile so I'm just going to stop here.

- Pagan, Witch, Wiccan, Shaman
- Other Beliefs/Practices
- Psychology and philosophy have a large influence on my beliefs. Existentialism, especially in association with psychology, facinates me. I find that I can connect with many of the concepts. Especially those related to fear/love as primal emotions. I can work through almost any situation by just figuring out, acknowledging, and working with my own fears. Sometimes, the simpliest fear can cause a tidal wave effect on my being.
- Hobbies
- Gardening, cooking, camping, drawing, painting, reading, watching movies, crafting, booking, scrapbooking, incense, herbal remedies.
Making... well everything, anything, and some of that too. I like figuring out haw to take something and make it for myself. I can probably take some sticks, twine and paint and make a lamp.
- Heroes
- I admire Einstein. It intrigues me that a man of science would have such wisdom in the ways of the world and spirituality.
One of my biggest hero's would be my mother. She has come so very far in life and is also pagan. She found the craft through me and has found great solice in her beliefs. It's difficult going through life like she has and seeing the joy and peace she has is inspiring.
There are so many that I admire. Those who remind me that beauty can be seen anytime, depending on the eyes your looking with.

- I love to work on my garden. I love to spend time with my husband and my friends. I have a strange facination with cooking outdoors. I don't know why but I love to cook over a fire! Might be one of the reason's I love to go camping.
I really love herbalism and have been studying its nuances for years. Specifically, the effects that certain herb interactions have with psychotropic medications. I worked with a psychiatrist for a time and am bipolar so I have found that these are things that one really should know.
I feel very strongly connected with the Fey... I have a great deal of respect and love for thier ways.

- Say what you mean, Mean what you say! If you can't do either, just walk away!
I don't like it when someone seems to "know" everything. Especially when they try and tell me what's best for me. I have no problems with healthy disagreements or confrontations. I generally don't choose the course of confrontation because most of the time you run across those who think confrontation is an invitation to attack someone in any fashion. IT'S NOT!
I don't like the seemingly meaningless stuff that we put so much focus on in life. I like living a simple life and it suites me. We don't have any TV service at home... we will sometimes watch movies but I have found that we have more fun with eachother without sitting in front of the TV. I see a lot of people getting caught up in their day to day lives to such a degree that they can't often see the joys that they have. I believe every problem deserves its "15 minutes of fame" and after that you either do something about it or if you can't move on. It takes so much meaning away. I don't like to see people doing that to themselves and I especially don't like when I catch myself doing it too. Which I do, probably more often than I would like to admit.
I don't like it when I babble... nor do I like saying I so freakin much!

Today is my little ones first day of school! She's never been away from me... I think the longest time that her and I weren't attached at the hip was 6 months. So, I sit here blubbering! Oh boy, that seperation anxiety really sneaks up on you doesn't it.

Fears... Understanding the past to decide my own future
Hello again,
So, I've been toying with these thoughts for quite some time, now. I'm still unsure as to my next step. I know that sometimes when I simply put my thoughts out there I will find my answers. So, here it goes.

Fall Reflections
Well, here I am back again... I have mostly been around silently watching. I realize that I have hidden myself in the shadows watching, listening, and observing the world at large. If I feel strongly enough I put my thoughts out there.

But, as it is such a large and well known organisation, I never mention them by name on line as I don't want anyone to take your typical "work whinge" and turn it into a fault about the company. Work is work and can be a pain in the butt where ever you be... I just don't want to be seen as someone complaining about THEM! :)
