About Me:: Just a simple woman trying to make it through a life that seems so difficult at times. Christianity let me down after 49 years and ever since I have been searching for a spiritual path. Witchcraft/Wicca seems to be the path that fits me best, but I have so very much to learn! I would love an organized method to learn by, but I've never found one that really appeals to me. I love making friends here and hope that I can interact with more people all of the time. I would like to have friendships that consist of more than just sending a pretty picture to each other every now and then, even though, those are very thoughtful. Sharing and helping friends is the best therapy that anyone can participate in to make their own lives, happier and healthier!

Hobbies: Swimming, being outdoors, reading, puzzle games and the computer.

Heroes: My middle son, now stationed in Afghanistan until next June/July. But especially my daughter who died from colon cancer on Christmas Day in 2005. I will always miss her so.

Likes: Water, honesty, cloud formations, trust, the moon, hugs, sincere conversations, friends, fresh ripe watermelon, glass of cold lemonade on a hot day ....

Dislikes: My first dislike is a hate ... WAR. But I also dislike people who: think they know everything about everything, think they are better than me, put on fake facades, and hurt other people. I also dislike winter, advertising, & stupid people. But my biggest hate, other than war, is anyone who lies.

My daughter Beth & I were buying groceries this morning and at a smaller locally owned store we overheard two people talking. There had been a "bouncing" tornado that came through the town two nights ago, damaging many buildings, destroying trees, and even killing a teen girl. These people evidently had been discussing it.
