About Me:: I live in a small town and I like it. Not too far out in the country but definitely out of the hussle and bustle of the city. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga instructor and Reiki Master/Teacher. I read Tarot and study religion and spirituality in my spare time. This may sound like a snore fest to most people but I like the solitude and lack of drama. Transitions

No matter how much you try and prepare yourself for someone's transition, you just can't be totally prepared. My grandfather transitioned to his next life this morning. It is an interesting experience. I am sad and happy all at the same time. I don't really know what to feel at this moment. I am just grateful that he is past his suffering.

What the Crap!?

I don't get people sometimes. Back and forth, back and forth...I know I do that on occasion, everyone does. Sometimes though people can swing back and forth so many times they make everyone else around them dizzy!

I am a very accepting, patient person but even I have my limits. At what point do you just wash your hands of it and say WHATEVER!? When you love a friend and they kick you out of their life because they can't make up their mind what they want, what do you do???

Soul Patch Update

I just wanted to put out an update on our progress at the community center:

We are very excited to report that the plumbing has been updated and that it did not take very long. We are glad that the weather was fairly nice while all of the piping was being replaced. We are now moving on to painting. With 8 rooms to paint before the first of February we are feeling the crunch. It's a good growing pain though.

Ahhhh...Finally

Thank God/Goddess it's the weekend. In spite of all of the exciting things going on I am so glad to have a day to chill out. Our new studio space is coming along nicely but it wearing me out. I am looking forward to the time we can actually go to work and just peace out instead of cleaning up old crap, dusting three inches of crap off of the floor or having to paint six rooms. Life & The Pursuit of Staying True to Yourself

I have wondered many times why I am here. What's my lesson??? What did I miss the last time around??? It has become abundantly clear that I must be here to learn how to be true to myself. I have a problem saying "no" to people because I don't want to rock the boat, even when I KNOW it's going to make me nuts and miserable later.
