I've often felt that in order to be a friend or to be loved that I had to be whatever someone else wanted. After learning the HARD way that that doesn't work, I'm just me. There are a lot of people who think I'm weird, simply because they don't take the time to get to know me. I know that I'm different. I am a true friend. I am a loving mother. What I believe: As I said I do believe in God. However, I believe that God is more than anyone can begin to imagine. I believe that God is EVERYWHERE and in EVERYTHING. Every living thing. Every rock. Every plant. Every speck of dust. God knows what is in our hearts. At the same time I DO believe in evolution. Humanity alone has changed, just physically, so much in just the last 100 years. I have studied a couple of other religions. I do have respect for the beliefs of others as long as there is harm to none.
I do not believe in the devil, demons or hell. I do believe that evil exists in the form of humans. I do believe that Jesus Christ walked the earth. I believe there was more to Him than what we have been told. I also believe in the existance and teachings of Buddha.
My thoughts on Christianity are based in historical facts. Christanity has long been USED for power. The conquering, torture and murder of innocent "non-believers" is not Christ-like at all. The Bible itself has been re-written many times. I feel that anyone with ANY TYPE OF RELIGION, should be open to the beliefs of others. People should try to educate themselves, at least, about what they don't understand. NO ONE SHOULD EVER FORCE THEIR BELIEFS ON OTHERS. There should be mutual respect. HOWEVER, ANY SO-CALLED RELIGIOUS BELIEF THAT IS INTOLERANT TO OTHERS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. If someone does not want to hear about the beliefs of another, they should not be forced.

I feel that you should always try to understand others. Help those who need it, even in a small way, if and when you can. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you. Teach by example. Your children will do what they see you do.
