About Me:
. Well thanks for checking out my profile..My name is Frank, or my magickal name is Faunus. I'm HP in a coven Greenheart Grove in the Celtic/Eclectic tradition of Wicca, and is studing for my 3rd degree, with a great teacher in Santa Cruz... I work at a printing co. in sunnyvale, running bindery machines. I love mountain biking with my wife, and getting outdoors as much as possible, since im a urban Pagan, living in an apartment in the city. I have 2 boys Christopher, and Frankie jr..16, and 20 .. And I also read Tarot cards. Our coven takes most my free time, but we manage to get to the drive-in once in awhile..Im also in recovery, which has givin' me the freedom to move ahead in life spirtually, and in life in general. i really cant say enough of the program of AA and everyone who has been there for me, through everything, and help'ed me along my path of soberity. People ask me why I chose the Wiccan Way, and I tell them "I didn't....The Wicca Life chose me. What is Wicca? Wicca. Witchcraft. The Path. The Craft. Whatever you call it, it's more than just a religion or magick, it's a way of life -- in perfect love and perfect trust. The philosophy of the religion (acknowledged as such by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1986) can be overly simplified into "we are all one and we love life in all its forms." Everything has energy. Everything is interconnected. As Starhawk said in "Spiral Dance " Our practice arises from a deep, spiritual commitment to the earth, to healing and to linking of magick to political action. All living beings are worthy or respect. All are supported by the sacred elements. We are called to make the earth a place where all the children (not just human) can thrive. Each one of us embodies the divine. Our ultimate spiritual authority is within and we need no other person to interpret the sacred to us. We foster the questioning attitudes and we honor intellect, spiritual and creative freedom. Honoring both Goddess and God, we work with female and male images of divinity, always remembering that their essence is a mystery that goes beyond form. In honoring the Goddess and God, we acknowledge the duality that exists in all facets of life. Wicca is the celebration of nature and the circle of life. We honor the seasons of the year, phases of the moon and states of our lives (maiden, mother, crone) . Wicca is an Earth religion -- an accepting, open-minded faith that celebrates diversity and considers us all to be children of the same mother. Gender, age, race, sexual orientation, physical status, family background or ethnic heritage are not important in Wicca. We are male and female, old and young, gay and straight, healthy and disabled, and of all colors.
Blessed Be
Frank

Changing the energy in your home

We all can appreciate the beautiful healing energy of spending time in nature, away from civilization. But eventually we have to come home. When we compare the sense of peace and connectedness we feel in nature and to the stress and noise and bustle of city, we know internally that there is a difference. Part of the difference is the energy programmed into the physical objects of these places. Nature in general has more positive energy than our homes or cities. Reasons Nature's Energy is Po… Continue

Hes also looking forward to going to Summer Solstice (Litha) ritual with Greenheart Grove, and meeting everyone there. And on the weekend of the 27th… Continue

Paradigm Shifting: The Power of Positive Thinking

Paradigm Shifting: The Power of Positive Thinking Success starts with a state of mind. Christopher Columbus knew it. Thomas Edison lived it. Michael Dell and Bill Gates believe it. And Marcus Aurelius said it, “"Our life is what our thoughts make of it… A man's true greatness lies in the consciousness of an honest purpose in life, founded on a just estimate of himself…” You may ask why this is so. The formula for this is quite simple. 1. What you believe, you act on. Action begins with, a… Continue

Witch's Personal standards of spirituality

Witch's personal standards of spirituality 1. An ye harm none, do as ye will. 2. If you know the Rede is being broken, you must work strongly against it. 3. Watch, listen, and withhold judgement; in debate let your silences be long, your thoughts clear, and your words carefully chosen. 4. Never boast, or threaten, or speak evil of anyone. 5. Be truthful always, save when speaking would lead to a great harm. 6. Keep clean your body, your clothes, and your house. 7.… Continue

)An English wood, by Robert Graves(
This valley wood is pledged
To the set shape of things,
And reasonably hedged:
Here are no harpies fledged,
No rocs may clap their wings,
Nor gryphons wave their stings.
Here, poised in quietude,
Calm elementals brood
On the set shape of things:
They fend away alarms
From this green wood.
Here nothing is that harms -
No bulls with lungs of brass,
No toothed or spiny grass,
No tree whose clutching arms
Drink blood when travellers pass,
No mount of glass;
No bardic tongues unfold
Satires or charms.
Only, the lawns are soft,
The tree-stems, grave and old;
Slow branches sway aloft,
The evening air comes cold,
The sunset scatters gold.
Small grasses toss and bend,
Small pathways idly tend
Towards no fearful end.
