I have noticed lately that I haven't taken time to Thank my deity as I should. I have been so caught up in what I don't have instead I should have noticed what I do have. I haven't taken time to notice the good that is all around me.
Last night I was sitting in my room watching T.V and doing some stuff in my B.O.S. and bam! it hits me, I start to realize the blessings I have. For example:
1. I have been having financial difficulties… Continue

First of all I've never Blogged before so I don't know if I'll keep it up or not. It might just be sparatic but I'll try. I've been Pagen for a long time, since Jr. High however I didn't start reading anything about any one Pagan path until I was in early High School. I just knew Christianity didn't give me the warm fuzzies, as I call it, that others seemed to get from it. One day I asked my mom to take me to a store called Nature's Treasures that is across form a local university. I liked… Continue

Today I realized that I need help and can't do this on my own. Chris wants to come back to Florida but can't do so without a job. We have been trying to get him a job for some time now. I keeping praying to the Goddess to bring him home to me. He has stated over and over again that he wants that as well. We are connected at the heart and right now mine is sad that he is not here. I keep going on without him but everything I seem to do includes him. I want to ask others to help but while I am a… Continue

At present your being is mixed up with experiencing.
All you need is to unravel being from the tangle of experiences.
Once you have known pure being,
without being this or that,
you will discern it among experiences and
you will no longer be misled by names and forms.
Self~limitation is the very essence of personality.…

In ancient Rome, an agricultural festival called the
Feriae Sementiva (Feast of Spring) was celebrated annually on this date
with sacrifices to Ceres (the goddess of agriculture) and Tellus Mater
(the goddess of the Earth and fertility), as well as other lesser gods
associated with agriculture.
this date in the year 1940, Z. Budapest (the founder and leader of the
main branch of feminist Dianic Wicca) was born in Budapest.… Continue

Being Gentle With Ourselves
During those times when our lives are filled with what seems to be constant change and growth, it is important to remember that we need to be gentle with ourselves. Since it can be easy to use our energy to keep up with the momentum of our lives, we may not be aware of the fact that we are much more likely to run ourselves down. When things seem to be moving quickly, it is especially essential that we make a point to slow down and be gentle with… Continue

We all have the capacity to be many things,
good or bad. What is important is what we
do with what we have. Complaining only takes up
precious time and gains us nothing. Many people
make careers of being grossly negative, even though
they may have fine opportunities. Others take one
small idea and study its possibilities… Continue

is the great messenger of the Gods. He is the planet, which represents
speech, communication and commerce on all levels. In his lower function
he organises and articulates material resources. On a higher level he
connects us with our inner capacities--the powers of the mind.
The power of Mantras & Shlokas has been acknowledged
since time immemorial. A… Continue

Choosing True Connections
We are often lured by the promise of new technologies to make our lives easier and help connect us to others. While they do so in many ways, they also present each of us with opportunities to make new choices about how we spend our time and invest our energy. Most gadgets are generally meant to improve the quality of our lives, but it is when we spend too much time with them that they actually do the opposite. By always using our portable emailers, cell… Continue

Greetings from the frozen wastes of College Place/ Walla Walla WA!
Mother Nature dumped six inches of fluffy, white snow on us over the last few days. That, coupled with the fact that the temperature remains at 27 degrees F or less, has turned the streets of my town into one big ice rink. It's times like these that having an Alaskan for a husband comes in handy. Even without snow tires on either of our clunky old Buicks, we've managed to get around safely with a… Continue

As the Sabbat of Imbolg draws near, I wanted to share a fascinating article I found online. In my tradition, a main part of the Imbolg ceremony is Drawing Down the Sun, which should be achieved through natural means such as using a looking glass. The link I have included shows how to draw fire from ice, a fitting way (in my opinion ) to welcome… Continue

Growing up, my mother had always told me to stay on the right of a path. Except for the UK and some other European countries, the flow of traffic is to the right. So as I amble about in the stores, parks, sidewalk, et al, I always stick to the right side of the path so I won't infringe on anoyone else's progress. Unfortunately, some people are not aware of this simple law of movement. I have had two step dances with strangers as they try to disrupt my progress on the right. In simple speak,… Continue

The Great Lion & Tyrannies of Evil Men
Cursed are the Evil Men whose stern, Unnerving maneuvers vote to silence Great Lion's roar. Uncovering the worst intentions, A grove by the sea was severed,
Causing "The Winds of Change" to gust never more.
Conjure up your masses, Oh ye Children of the Land of the Free. For the Evil Men know, that Freedom isn't Free.

Twilight moon dancing across the norther sky.
A nighten gale signs of the sweet sun.
As a sunfire sprite dances on a blacken rose.
As a Deviant angel pricks it finger on the rose,
Its blood telling the story of her.

Aphrodite and the chance to get a Custom Welcome Sign are up at the Etsy site: http://wicketicons.etsy.com
And at my Deviant Art Site, you can see The Fairy Warming by Moonlight - which was going to go up at the shop... until my best friend saw her, squeaked and claimed her.
I should have several pieces ready in a few days. :) yay!
