All Beliefs are Welcome Here!
I got the keys to an old house today. It is a cool old house. Its address is 13 on the street, I like that address. I bought the house from a family that has owned it for generations. The latest generation to move out was a family with three children. They were living in filth. The house is full of trash, dirt, and rocks. The house is cool and dark inside, very comfortable. There are actually three separate living quarters, main house and two apartments. There is a large terrace on the roof.…Continue
Their Ability to Generate a Residual Haunting Theory: Limestone, Quartz, and/or Magnetite deposits can supposedly hold information, such as an event in history, and when the information is released a residual haunting may occur.A Residual haunting is when an event in the past gets imprinted at a certain location and is released in the present world. An example of this is Gettysburg battlefield in Pennsylvania. There have been reports of tourists walking through the park and seeing a…Continue
And so we must return to the grind. Worse things to being doing for certain. With that I wish you well for yet another day. Until our paths cross again. Blessings.

It is amazing to me how social media has affected the way we interact with one another. It seems as the frequency of communication online increases the ability for us to communicate in real life declines.
Perhaps it is just too easy to be who we are online, in a pure sense, and the world of common discourse and the reluctance to celebrate differences are creating the narrowness of view.
I can be just as guilty of this as any observation I make of others.

The Holly and the Ivy
When they are both full grown,
Of all the trees that are in the wood,
The holly wears the crown.
~ traditional carol
In his book The White Goddess, the author Robert Graves proposed that the mythological figure of the Holly King represents one half of the year, while the other is personified by his counterpart and adversary the Oak King: the two battle endlessly as the seasons turn. At Midsummer the Oak King is at the height of his strength,…Continue

A 3″ x 3″ Holly equal-armed cross, pyrographed with the bindrune for nightmare prevention and Holly ogham. True folk magick…
Myth and Lore can be funny things..as time passes and the stories are re-told, in many cases without benefit of setting pen to paper, so much gets misconstrued…even to the point of hilarity at times. So can be the story of placing a garland of Holly around the neck of a horse to prevent it having nightmares. Yes, animals do dream, but this is…Continue

Ah the holidays are truly here. Not because the calendar decrees it. Oh no I have another way of knowing. How you might ask? Nothing to odd. A tantrum simply has to be thrown by a particular person. She never fails to provide however. Many of us proably deal with the same though. And we know how to deal. If you don't that sucks. With that I wish you well for another day. Until our paths cross again. Blessings.

I've struggled with money all my life. I was the only child of a single mom in the 1970's and 1980's. It did not take me log to pick up on my Mom's money anxiety. I would curtail expressing my wants because I knew it would cause her distress. The only time I really allowed myself to dream big was Christmas, because of the magic of Santa. I cannot imagine how hard my mom must have worked to satisfy those desires. In fact, I know she overcompensated. I would wake up Christmas morning…Continue

Greetings my friends. As we stand on the edge of a holiday I wish you all well. I'll proably ramble tomorrow or maybe not. Holidays do make me thoughtful but at the same time they also make me more anti-social then usual. Not that it interests you. With that have a an extra special day. Until our paths cross again. Blessings.

I want to wish everyone here in the US a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is in a way a time when our various Tribes gather together. We travel from whereever we're living to whereever our larger family is - it may be over hundreds of miles, or just across town. But it's a time for us to renew our relationships with those who have been in our lives from the very beginning.
So, what is a "tribe"? Anthropologists don't really have answers, but they have alot of theories, and of…Continue

After living for a while, having experiences and perceptions tied into a way of being doesn't lead to some kind of inevitable sense of "questioning it all" if the way of being is found to be sufficient and without the weight of the guilt of necessarily being wrong, so to have those beliefs challenged in a way that leads to causing the questioning of the integrity of the being itself ceases to be believable as a natural occurrence, by it's own way of cause, and shows itself to be a means of…Continue

OK so I'm new to Wicca and I decided to see I can find some prayers that didn't need candles or anything (I can't afford that and getting a job is a real struggle for me). I found a list of prayers and saved it really deep into my computer in a folder nobody would want to go into (I save my Wiccan stuff in about 5 layers of folders). I didn't use those prayers very often but just yesterday I decided to do a prayer that asks for a good day and a woman I don't trust who lives with my family…Continue
Archeologists have made some surprising discoveries at the site Zultépec-Tecoaque in Tlazcala, Mexico. A full-size throne built of tezontle, a volcanic rock, and a “spectacular” cylindrical carved stone that displays the glyph, or pictograph, of the Aztec god Ometochtli, or “Two Rabbit.” Ometochtli was the Aztec pulque god and one of the 400 rabbit gods. This area of Mexico was famous for producing pulque in Ancient Mexico.
Also found was a cistern containing the skeletal…Continue
